Dan Brother has been playing guitar since the age of eight. Now with more than 10 years experience on the instrument, Dan has shared the stage with the likes of Bill Perry, Slam Allen, Murali Coryell, Bobby Kyle, Teddy Young, Mike Quick, and Rick Salazar. He came to the blues by way of Jonny Lang and soon graduated to Stevie Ray Vaughan and Jimi Hendrix. His most obvious influence, however, is Blind Pig recording artist, and Hudson Valley native son, Bill Perry. Dan plays a Stevie Ray Vaughan signature Strat, a Gibson ES-335 and several custom axes through a 1971 Super Reverb. He uses a Fulltone overdrive pedal, a Dunlop Crybaby wah, a Boss DD-3 digital delay, and a Dunlop Rotovibe. He plays 10-gauge D'Addario strings. |
